The Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 comes in attractive and very unique packaging, which at first glance appears to be extravagant. The centrepiece of the blister pack is the mouse itself contained in a hard plastic shell on a spindle, which spins around so that you can see both sides of the mouse. Why is this important? Because this mouse has buttons on top and underneath so that it can be used as a wireless presenter remote. What's clever and unique (and not the least bit wasteful) is once you open the packaging, that hard plastic case becomes a form fitting case for the mouse and USB Bluetooth dongle. Very slick.
More unboxing pictures and a video before I attacked the blister pack with a pair of scissors below.
Apologies for the poor quality - all I had available was a cameraphone.
